Dear Mr. Bonfe

I have had a need over the past seven months to deal with your company and a significant number of your employees as Chairman of the House Committee of First Church of Christ, Scientist, St. Paul, MN. We called for service on a Sunday in mid-January to determine why we were not getting heat in our auditorium to which you gave immediate response and made temporary repairs. Subsequently, it was recommended that the existing heating system should be replaced. As you well know, when dealing with a Board of Directors, it is always necessary to go through the bidding process, which we did. I dealt with Aaron Daubanton who was so willing to answer my many questions and so patient in explaining what had to be done and why. Another Board member solicited a bid from another company and we then as a full Board began the decision making process. The bid from your company was not the lowest but your installation benefits coupled with your Peace of Mind Protection Plan were impressive and after much discussion, it was agreed to award the contract to you. Aarons kindness to me in always taking time to take so many phone calls was important in my being able to present your position accurately. We had some challenges along the way but the job is now complete and we are grateful for the professionalism of all your employees who had a part in getting the job done.

In the middle of all this activity, my air conditioner stopped running the night before I left to go to Michigan for 10 days. I called Aaron (in somewhat of a panic!) and with his stabilizing calmness, we made arrangements for him to get in the house to see what I should do. I gave him my phone number in Michigan and he called with his assessment and the cost. I had no qualms about telling him to proceed, gave him the financial information he needed, and my new one was installed before I came home! Due to cold weather, I havent had to use it yet but Im ready for whenever the need arises with peace of mind!

After I got home, Aaron came out so we could finish up the paper work and while he was here I asked him to look at some problem areas I was concerned about in regard to my plumbing. He suggested that I have one of your plumbers come out. I called Lisa (who also has been so helpful in many ways during all of the above) and made arrangements to do so. Jerry came out and his assessment was pretty overwhelming and more costly than I anticipated. I got the same sense of trustworthiness as I had sensed with Aaron and decided it was time to get the job done. Despite the cost, I wasnt interested in getting another bid so we arranged to do it the following Monday and Tuesday. Jerry said it would take at least two days. I spent a few restless nights but I just felt it was the right thing to do before I had a major disaster. When he and Mike arrived Monday morning, I met him at the door and said, I need a pep talk. We did and then got started. They were so thorough in laying down cloths to protect the carpet, so careful in bringing in all the supplies they needed, so pleasant to have in the house, so encouraging when Id ask them how things were going, and taking time to show me some of the pipes and how bad they were. This was not an easy job and they never complained about a thing, always considerate of my needs, cleaning things up when they finished and workers that you should well be proud of. I can only say that on a basis of 1 to 10, Jerry, Mike, Lisa and Aaron all get 10s in my book.

It has been a pleasure, Mr. Bonfe, to have had the opportunity to use your company, work with your employees (who I now consider my good friends) and I certainly am willing to have you use me as a reference if you ever desire to do so.

Jon Tripp put in a new water heater and fixed my toilet. He explained the work, was VERY courteous and did a great job! This is the second time he has done work in my home-the first was in January when he came out with Tom and they replaces the water waste line. I have also scheduled work to replace OLD galvanized water pipes in my home with copper, and will have a new laundry tub put in at the same time. Jon is an excellent plumber, and a great representative of your company.

It just so happens that over the past few weeks I talked with a couple friends having plumbing problems. They were so stressed out because: the plumber was late, the plumber threw his coat on the sofa, the plumber refused to use new faucets and had to use up his $5 ones, the plumber didnt finish the job and left. I gave them your card but too late. I can relate to this, before I discovered Bonfes I had a couple duds too, at $75/hr. and ended up with Bonfes. I was completely satisfied. This letter is long overdue. Please forgive the time that has passed.

We want to thank you (and all of Bonfes and Smith) for taking care of our boiler problem by giving us a bigger and better one at no expensewhich you did on your own, without any input from us. It gave us such peace of mind, and took away any pressure or frustration on our part. It was a kind and generous thing you did. Our house is constantly warm and the heat is even in ALL the rooms. It works PERFECTLY, and I no longer worry or wonder. The only drawback is that we wont get to see our friend Tom as often! I will always speak well of you and Bonfes! Greeting to all!
