Duct Cleaning
Bonfe's duct cleaning equipment is used for dryer vent
cleaning, duct cleaning, and is also needed for radon mitigation. When
scheduling duct cleaning, check the schedule for any conflicting calls
including dryer vent cleaning and radon mitigation.
-
The duct cleaning process begins by bringing a
three-stage filtration unit down to your basement. This system
is unique because this machine is similar to the one they use to
remove asbestos. It also has a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate
Air) filter which captures the really tiny stuff, such as
bacteria, mold and mildew spores, pollens, pet dander, and smoke
particles. What this means to you, simply, is that the dust and
particulate that goes into the machine stays there. It’s not
like vacuum bags, where the fine dirt and dust escape through
the bag back into your home. It does an excellent job of getting
rid of all that fine dirt and dust and so forth.
-
Next, your registers are all removed. Your
registers are then cleaned and sanitized. To perform the duct
cleaning process a negative pressure atmosphere is created in
your ductwork with the filtration unit. What that simply means
is that when we start cleaning and kicking that dust and
particulate around, it is drawn in towards the filtration unit
and away from your living space. So there is no extra cleaning
involved after we are done.
-
Your duct runs are cleaned with a high-pressure
air sweep. That is an air hose with an attachment on the end,
which hugs the lining of the duct work pushing the dirt, dust,
and debris into the filtration unit. Power brushes are also
used, if needed, to remove caked on debris from the inside the
duct surfaces. That way you can be assured that your system is
totally clean. This exact same process is done on both the hot
and the cold air sides, cleaning your system 100%. At this
stage, the blower compartments of your home’s heating/cooling
system are cleaned. After the total cleaning of your duct system
is completed, a deodorizer is sprayed through the entire system,
killing the lingering odors on contact.
-
Your duct cleaning is satisfaction guaranteed.
What this means is once the duct cleaning is finished, you will
receive a visual inspection of the interior of the ductwork with
a camera system. If you are unhappy with the visual inspection,
we will continue cleaning the system until you are satisfied. We
want you to be confident that you received the best value for
your money. When it comes to duct cleaning, the only way for a
customer to assess the quality of the job is to see the interior
of the ductwork that was cleaned.
-
While your ducts are being cleaned, the
technician will lay down floor mats and wear shoe protectors
throughout your home to protect your carpeting and flooring. He
will leave your home as clean as it was before we came out. The
entire process is protected by Bonfe’s $100 clean home
guarantee!
Testimonial
We moved into our home last year and were noticing alot of dust on the furniture and around our heating vents so we had Bonfe's come out to clean our ducts. Your technician did was professional, neat, and did a thorough job. He even took off and cleaned all our registers! I also thought it was neat to be able to see a video inspection of our duct system to show that the ducts really were cleaned out. We also know Bonfe's did a good job because we actually have noticed a reduction in the amount of dust in our home. Thanks for a job well done.
