Radon Mitigation
You cant see radon. You cant smell it. You cant taste it. But it
may be a problem in your home.
Radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the natural decay of uranium
that is found in nearly all soils. It typically moves up through the
ground to the air above and into your home through the homes
foundation. Age of your home is irrelevant. Any home may have radon
problems.
Contact Bonfes today to schedule an
appointment to test your home.
Radon gets in through:

Cracks in solid floors.
-
Construction joints.

Gaps around service pipes.

-
The water supply.
High radon levels have been found in every state, county and
city. Radon problems vary from area to area, and house to house, but the
only way to know for sure is to test your home.

Testimonials
We would personally like to thank you and your
company, Bonfe, for your quality service and professionalism in addressing
and repairing the radon problem in our house.
Our radon levels prior to the mitigation system installation were as high as
5.8 picoCuries per liter. In addition to the radon, we also had a foul odor
from soil gas or a decomposing animal under or around the foundation. We
struggled for well over a year to find the source and solution to this
ungodly odor. As a blessing in disguise, this very unpleasant odor led us to
check for radon. We know that radon is odorless, but we are grateful that we
tested anyways.
The installation took only 1 day. We were extremely impressed by you and
your crews professional, knowledgeable and caring manner. Also, you were
very neat and orderly, leaving everything the way it was before the job.
Your company left a follow-up radon test kit to check for post installation
radon levels. Our results show that our radon levels are only .9 picoCuries
per liter! We are obviously extremely relieved and excited with these
results. In addition to these wonderful results, our unpleasant odor is
completely gone!
Again, it was truly a pleasure dealing with you and your company and we will
continue to refer friends and family to you.
Sincerely,

I am writing to inform you of how impressed I am with
the service your associate Brad provided during my just completed radon
mitigation project. Prior to starting work he carefully explained the scope
of the project and answered all my questions. Once the project started,
problems arose. He thoughtfully addressed the problems keeping me fully
informed. In the end he sacrificed a day of work rather than deliver a
less-than-satisfactory solution to our problem.
Your company's commitment to quality service is impressive. I am a
first-time customer and as a result of this experience I plan to use you for
future needs.
